On Wednesday, August 5th, the rain cleared and the sun came out for Mill Creek Towne residents and their families who enjoyed an evening Games Night at Mill Creek Towne Swim Association’s Pool. Everyone enjoyed the pool and games. They played lawn games and table games, including ping pong, Rummikub, and Sorry!, and swam in the large pool. They enjoyed light refreshments including cookies, chips, popcorn, and water.
As the newest one of the nine free community events MCV hosts each year, our Game Night at the Pool provides residents with a chance to meet and mingle with their neighbors, catch up with friends, make new acquaintances, and watch their children play safely with other children, all while enjoying games, swimming, and refreshments on a summer evening.

Mill Creek Village is a charitable, all-volunteer organization that provides various free services and events to benefit our community. It is funded by neighbor donations, business sponsorships, and small grants. The Village is dedicated to: (1) assisting senior residents in Mill Creek Towne with various services that enable them to age gracefully and safely in their homes and avert social isolation; (2) promoting intergenerational social connection and positive community spirit through events such as the Ice Cream Social and the upcoming Community Picnic; and (3) keeping neighbors informed via a monthly e-newsletter, its Facebook page, and its website at www.millcreekvillage.org.
