Help Mill Creek Village Shape Its Future Efforts by Completing A Brief Online Resident Survey By March 22

Dear Neighbors:

Happy New Year! Last year, Mill Creek Village proudly celebrated 10 years of service as a nonprofit community services organization serving Mill Creek Towne. Our volunteers, your neighbors, have devoted thousands of service hours to assist resident seniors to age well in place and have encouraged broader resident social engagement that promotes a caring, informed and connected community.

There is never a charge for our services and programs. To date, we gratefully have underwritten our costs with the help of neighbors; generosity, local business sponsorships and small grants.

In addition to its senior services and community-wide events, the Village provides a monthly e-newsletter and an informative and helpful online and social media presence. In 2022, the Village initiated a “Welcome Wagon” to greet new neighbors. In 2023, it partnered with Project Porchlight to promote greater energy conservation and savings. In 2024, it introduced technology support services for resident seniors. Ahead this year, the Village will construct a neighborhood Little Free Library and add an eighth annual social event — a Family Pool Party in June for residents of all ages.

We think it is an exciting time for the Village! But it is very important for us to hear from you, those we serve, about how we are doing, what we might do to improve, what other programs and projects we should consider, and whether more of our neighbors have an interest in becoming a Village volunteer. To obtain such input, we have created a brief online survey.

It has been five years since we asked conducted such a survey. So, as we embark on our second decade of service, it is very timely to receive our neighbors; feedback once again. We invite all adults in your household, 18 years of age and older, to participate. It is estimated that the survey should take no longer than 6-10 minutes to complete.
