MCV Walk Around the Towne

Walk Start Location: Mill Creek Towne Elementary School, 17700 Park Mill Drive, Derwood, MD 20855

Join your neighbors for our annual leisurely 2-mile walk around parts of Mill Creek Towne at one of the most colorful times in our neighborhood. This is a great opportunity to get some morning movement, and view the lovely gardens of our beautiful neighborhood. Light refreshments will be provided as well as a walking tour map. Please meet at 9:00am at the front of Mill Creek Towne Elementary School.

Founded in 2013, Mill Creek Village (MCV) is a volunteer-led, 501 (c) 3, tax-exempt, nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to assisting older neighbors (60+ years of age) in Mill Creek Towne to maintain their independence and age well at home. Services include transportation support, grocery shopping, friendly home visits and check-in phone contacts. MCV also fosters community-wide, inter-generational social connection via several annual events like this one.
