DESCRIPTION:Mill Creek Village Invites Mill Creek Towne residents of all ages to our 13th Annual Community Picnic! \n\n\n\nWhen: Saturday\, September 19\, 2026 \n\n\n\nRain Date: Saturday\, September 26\, 2026 \n\n\n\nTime: 4 pm -7 pm \n\n\n\nWhere: Caddy Court \n\n\n\nWE’LL PROVIDE: \n\n\n\n\nGrilled hot dogs\, hamburgers\, turkey burgers\, and veggie burgers\n\n\n\nBuns and condiments\n\n\n\nLemonade\, iced tea\, and water (Courtesy of Mill Creek Towne Garden Club)\n\n\n\nCanopies for shade and tables and chairs for sit-down dining\n\n\n\nLawn games and a raffle for several restaurants $25 gift cards.\n\n\n\n\nPlease feel welcome to bring a side dish or dessert to share as well as your favorite beverage and extra chair. \n\n\n\nPlease contact MCV volunteer services at mctvillage@gmail.com or 240-686-5870 if you require transportation to this event. \n\n\n\nNational Preparedness Month Table \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor National Preparedness Month\, Montgomery County’s Office of Emergency Management will provide information and distribute materials related to emergency preparedness\, including preparedness workbooks\, Alert Montgomery cards\, and children’s coloring and activity books. We will share guidance on key preparedness actions such as staying informed\, developing an emergency plan\, and assembling an emergency kit. In addition\, we will encourage residents to complete our emergency preparedness survey\, which not only offers preparedness information but also gathers valuable feedback on how the office can improve its outreach materials\, presentations\, and resources. This input will help ensure residents feel informed\, supported\, and empowered to take action before\, during\, and after emergencies.
